Representative projects include preparing presentations and communications for senior executives, development of pro-active strategy and analytics to improve team performance and other special projects as assigned.
The Director will have a Manager of Special Projects reporting to this role to provide analytical support.
Executive Communications
Develops and manages regular metrics and reporting for senior leadership.
Develops and manages regular metrics and reporting for operations and Business Corporate Development teammates.
Prepares monthly Pipeline Review and other presentations for Senior Executives and for other live meetings.
Synthesizes numerous sources of data and key analysis and translating into specific recommendations.
Strategic Process
Acts as a strategic thought partner with VP and divisional teams to evaluate opportunities.
Develops metrics and track progress against the group’s strategy.
Develops “game-changing” insights that lead to differential growth.
Supports key growth processes including quarterly strategy sessions with divisional leadership teams.
Collaborates with national strategy team.
Actively manages department’s budget; identify trends and solutions early on.
Data & Analytics
Develops process to address ad hoc data requests and needs.
Develops and improves credible and pragmatic analytical approaches and frameworks for use in the growth planning and opportunity targeting; use continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six-Sigma, PDCA.)
Builds complex models and conducts financial planning and analyses to assess impact on business metrics.
Written & Oral Communication
Conveys findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis.
Builds appropriate horizontal and vertical logic in presentation decks.
Collaborates with RFP administration team to improve proposals.
Other duties as assigned
Travel approximately 20-30%
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA preferred
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience of strategy consulting experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment bank or similar
Experience in creation, support and implementation of key operations initiatives required
Analytic expertise is critical
Ability to work with ambiguity and be self-motivated
Relevant experience in healthcare is a plus but not required
Strong project management skills
Proven excellence in strategic thinking
Willingness and ability to lead initiatives from inception through implementation
Excellent communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives
Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manager or supervisor’s role
