Job Description

KPI's

  • Lead the origination and development of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar opportunities by identifying prospective clients and engaging key decision-makers across target sectors.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate site assessments to evaluate customer energy needs, consumption patterns, and suitability for solar and hybrid energy solutions.
  • Work closely with technical and design engineering teams to develop tailored solar energy solutions that reduce energy costs, improve reliability, and support clients’ sustainability goals.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, financial analyses, and client presentations, including savings analysis, tariff comparisons, and return-on-investment assessments.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end business development process from lead generation and proposal development through contract negotiation and project close-out.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C&I customers, strategic partners and other stakeholders to drive project pipeline growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Support market research and strategic analysis to identify emerging opportunities within the renewable energy and energy transition landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design  engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain to ensure successful project development and execution.

 

Qualifications

  • First degree in Engineering {Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Renewable Energy engineering} or related discipline.
  • 3 -5 year's experience in Renewable Energy or related fields with an ability to develop projects  
  • Related experience working in the power distribution sector in Nigeria, Sales Engineering and across multi-disciplinary teams is a preferred advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Skills Required
