VuMedi is looking for a business development associate who will focus on identifying the largest pharmaceutical opportunities and systematically work on opening new ones. This is a key role for a motivated professional who will partner with a US-based salesperson to identify new opportunities and make connections on behalf of a company experiencing exponential growth.

VuMedi is the largest video education platform for doctors worldwide. We work  with world-renowned key opinion leaders, hospitals, and societies, and we have registered almost 500,000 physicians and offer 30,000 videos. It is free for all physicians, who can educate themselves to ensure they are up to date on practice-changing advances.   

Based in Oakland, the company's growth has exploded during the pandemic as physicians turn to asynchronous video learning to keep abreast of practice-changing advances in treatment. COVID-19 has created a tipping point for online education, allowing us to grow quickly, with a fast-growing team.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

We are hiring a Business Development Associate in our Zagreb office to work with the Sales team. You would collaborate daily with an assigned salesperson from our US-based teams on account and prospecting strategy. Join one of our fastest growing teams in the company and help us continue our hyper growth trajectory

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

- Conduct market research by analyzing market news, company news, and other sources in order to generate leads within target companies
- Research target companies and create a detailed mapping of key executives for prospecting within each division
- Send outbound emails and marketing campaigns to target executives
- Suggest and test improvements in VuMedi’s lead generation methodologies
- Set up meetings between prospective customers and salesperson
- Assist sales person with pre-sales operations, including decks, analytics, and proposals
- Assist sales person with tracking opportunities in Salesforce


ABOUT YOU  

- You have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in business development roles
- You are a self-driven professional eager to learn about new healthcare technologies and evolving market trends
- You can synthesize large amounts of data to identify market trends and opportunities for VuMedi
- You are proficient user of MS Office and Google tools
- You have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- You have a friendly and approachable demeanor
