What You'll Be Doing
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and profile key decision‑makers, research business needs, and present tailored solutions to initiate the sales cycle
- Generate new leads through proactive outreach across social media, industry publications, and other prospecting tools
- Schedule virtual appointments in under‑developed territories to introduce clients to our products and digital platforms
- Educate and nurture prospects, preparing qualified opportunities for hand‑off to outside sales teams
- Develop relationships with new clients who may be unfamiliar with the PJ brand
- Track all prospect and account activity in the CRM to support a consistent outreach cycle
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date with project details and contact information
Selling
- Build trust and long‑lasting relationships by becoming a go‑to resource for clients
- Serve as a true wallcovering concierge, guiding clients through options, launches, and design moments
- Drive sales growth by nurturing existing relationships and introducing the PJ experience to new clientele
- Spot and act on cross‑selling opportunities that enhance the client’s vision
- Educate clients with confidence and clarity across all facets of wallcovering
- Enter sample requests and introductory mailers with accuracy and care
- Complete stock checks to ensure clients receive timely, reliable information
- Prepare quotes that reflect both precision and exceptional service
- Proactively update clients on all order details details to keep projects moving smoothly
- Track and measure all HPA activity within the CRM to ensure goals are met
- Book and attend residential appointments during launches and as needed to support the client journey
Customer Experience
- Report on sales activity using the NAV and PowerBI, following established processes to ensure clarity and consistency
- Participate in daily sales huddles to help drive momentum and support closing opportunities
- Log assigned tasks in the CRM with accuracy and adherence to established procedures
- Process sales orders and quotes in NAV and FreshWorks with precision and care
- Use PowerBI reporting to track and monitor assigned open orders
- Follow up with clients on open quotes, reserve expirations, and CFAs to help advance sales to completion
- Assist with sample‑order follow‑ups as requested by the sales team
- Handle client and sales‑team inquiries via phone, email, and chat, offering polished support on quotes, samples, orders, and account details
- Respond to all market inquiries within established service‑level expectations
- Build strong product knowledge to guide clients with confidence and accuracy
- Assist the Territory Manager with daily operational tasks, including appointment entry and project‑registration updates
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-3 years of successful experience in sales, sales development or telesales; preferably within the design industry
- Exceptional communication skills, both orally and written, ability to engage with creative professionals
- Strong organizational and research abilities
- Experience with CRM platform would be a plus
- Proactive and motivated achieving goals
- Ability to travel to clients as needed
