Curant Health, a leader in patient-centric chronic disease management through specialty pharmacy, is seeking a Business Data Analyst II to join our Technology team in Smyrna, GA. This role plays a critical part in driving business intelligence initiatives, delivering actionable insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This position is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data pipelines, while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance operational performance and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test business intelligence reports, dashboards, and back-end components

  • Build and enhance data pipelines and ETL processes to expand reporting capabilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Lead projects of varying complexity while providing accurate time and effort estimates in an Agile environment

  • Troubleshoot and optimize reports, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, data-driven solutions

  • Develop standardized and ad hoc reporting for internal stakeholders and customers

  • Streamline and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations using analytical insight and business context

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong time management practices

  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with Curant Health policies, internal controls, and ethical standards

  • Support and maintain compliance with Specialty Pharmacy accreditation standards (URAC/ACHC)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of progressive experience within IT, analytics, or business intelligence roles

  • Strong experience with data visualization tools and reporting platforms such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar

  • Proficiency in database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, DAX, and cloud data services (Azure preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles

  • Experience developing advanced DAX and Power Query expressions within Power BI

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps/TFS and Git for version control and issue tracking

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred

  • Knowledge of statistical tools or programming languages (Python, R, SAS, etc.) is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
