Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Business/Data Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, communicating clearly, and driving business value through data.In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders to unpack and translate problems into actionable insights, then partner with data engineers to ensure these are delivered effectively. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting processes — driving automation, responding to ad hoc queries, and ensuring quality insights land on time, every time. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, UX, tech, support, and testing — bringing clarity to user stories, requirements, and solution design in an agile environment.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Computer Sciences
• Honours or Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
• Business/Data Analyst certification (advantageous)
Experience
• 3+ years as a Business or Data Analyst
• 3+ years working with large data sets
• 3+ years in requirements elicitation and documentation
• 1+ years working with financial data

- Strong communicator who can simplify the complex
- Logical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Confident in challenging ideas and assumptions
- Able to manage competing deadlines and stakeholder needs
Technical Competencies:
- Business Acumen (Audit)
- Proficient in data analysis and working with databases
- Strong SQL and data querying skills
- Experience automating reports and dashboards
- Comfortable interpreting financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)
- Power BI and PowerApps experience (advantageous)
