As a Business Controller, you will be part of our global Finance team in Suitsupply's HQ in Amsterdam. In this role, we are looking for a professional who is ready to proactively develop new ways of reporting, analyzing and facilitating business progress. You will also be responsible for business partnering with CEO, CFO, Board Members, Retail Directors, around the world, while making sure we have a positive impact on our processes, budgets, and workflows also on a global level. We prefer applications from the (fashion) retail industry, but we are open to being impressed. In return, you have the opportunity to make your mark at a pioneering and fast-growing global brand. Your typical day includes:
- Being responsible for doing business control for various stores and cost centers around the world
- Taking care of budgeting, complex analysis and getting and sharing relevant insights with the business from the collected data
- Initiating and leading process improvement projects with different stakeholders
- Being ready to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while keeping the high quality of your work
This job might be for you if you have:
- Approx. 1-5 years of working experience in a similar position
- A background in accounting and/or control
- Strong Excel skills, experience with building complex Excel models. Knowledge of Power BI - nice to have
- Analytical mindset and result-driven, improvement- and quality-focused attitude
- Fluency in English
