Job Description

As a Business Consultant and Application Manager for Finance and People & Organisation (P&O), you will act as a key link between our Finance and P&O teams and Business IT, helping to ensure that our application landscape supports efficient, reliable and scalable business processes across our global organisation.

You will be responsible for the ongoing management, enhancement and optimisation of specific system environments, with a particular focus on IFS Cloud ERP, related integrations and end-to-end business processes.

In this role, you will contribute to shaping and standardising TOMRA's global Finance and P&O systems landscape while supporting the digitalisation of business-critical processes. By collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and regions, you will help deliver effective solutions that meet evolving business needs and support continuous improvement on a global scale.

 

  • Lead and co-ordinate end-to-end software and digitalisation projects, including planning, delivery and post-implementation support.
  • Work closely with Finance and P&O stakeholders to analyse, design and improve business processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable application solutions that align with the existing systems landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners and software vendors to manage interfaces and integrations effectively.

 

  • Support the ongoing management of applications, including incident resolution, change management and continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify and assess emerging technologies and digital opportunities that can add value to Finance and P&O processes.
  • Provide training, guidance and user support to help colleagues make effective use of applications and tools.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, processes and implemented changes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT project management and business application consulting, ideally within Payroll, Time & Absence, or Finance modules in ERP environments, preferably IFS.
  • Alternatively, experience in a business support role within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of process analysis, continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, teams and locations.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or an equivalent qualification and/or relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working and modern IT governance practices would be beneficial.
  • Business-fluent English, German language skills would be an advantage.
