What would your role be?
- Client Onboarding Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence for new wealth management clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Periodic Client Reviews: Perform regular reviews of existing clients to ensure ongoing compliance and identify any potential risks.
- KYC Checks: Verify client identities and ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Formality Checks: Review and validate client information and documentation for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Adverse Media Searches: Conduct searches for adverse media and other risk indicators related to clients and escalate findings as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, legal, operations, and relationship managers, to address compliance-related matters.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in the wealth management or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of KYC, CDB, AML and Client Due Diligence processes.
- Proficiency in compliance tools and systems for conducting adverse media searches and KYC checks.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Oral and written proficiency in German (at least C2), and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
