Hastings Deering (PNG) LimitedA unique opportunity is now available for an experienced and highly motivated Business Centre Manager to oversee the Business Centre operations in Lihir PNG. Reporting to the Service & Operations Manager, the focus of this role will provide leadership to the Lihir branch and continue to support and grow the business in this region. The roster will be 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotating roster.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
Provide day to day management of the Business Centre operations
Lead, coach and mentor employees to ensure a culture of high performance
Drive a no harm safety culture with a focus on continuous improvement
Oversee the financial performance of the Business Centre
Monitor and analyse existing and potential opportunities and take appropriate actions to ensure market leadership
Build and maintain internal and external relationships to further enhance Hastings Deering reputation and success
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
Proven people management skills with the demonstrated ability to lead people to deliver results
Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
Tertiary qualifications in Business or relevant trade qualification
Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships
A high level commitment to safety and continuous improvement
