About the Role:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Learning and Development team based in Port Moresby. This role primarily exists to provide administrative support to the Manager and the Business Unit/Section managers in a confidential and efficient manner.
Reporting to the Learning Manager, your competency and experience will include:
- Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
- Provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the Manager and others as required
- End-to-end qualifications program management administration, including Enrolment and support, Scheduling and logistics, Completion and records management & Invoicing
- Organize and facilitate meetings including teleconferences, video conferences and Microsoft Teams
- Liaise with trainers, participants, and internal stakeholders to support smooth qualification delivery
- Record and prepare Minutes of meeting
- Prepare weekly reports via Word and Excel as directed for email distribution
- Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence and initiate follow up actions where necessary
- Arrange conferences (including catering), appointments, travel details, functions and entertainment
- Coordinate and prepare presentations including PowerPoint
- Maintain accurate qualification and compliance data across training management systems
- Perform general administration tasks, e.g. photocopying, scanning, laminating, binding
- Other ad-hoc duties as directed.
About You:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Office Management or Business Administration.
- Year 12 Certificate is required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in an RTO (with understanding of the qualifications process).
- Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office and workday.
- Proven stakeholder and customer engagement with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence.
