The Opportunity

Employer: United Services Automobile Association

Tasks: Advises and provides analytical support and recommendations to stakeholders making decisions related to business and application/IT platform direction and modifications, taking into account current and future business needs and opportunities. Maintains advanced understanding of business processes, applications/IT platform and strategic direction and advises customers on and facilitates the identification, research, and analysis of application/IT platform and technology solutions. Collaborates and exchanges information with team members, stakeholders, and information services to ensure dependencies, risks, and opportunities are identified and addressed. Researches complex business issues requiring advanced knowledge of business principles and theories. Responsible for analyzing and participates in documenting business requirements for application/IT platform and data systems and directing the testing and implementation of new systems or changes to current system as required to meet contractual needs and improve processes. Leads and participates in the design and administration of standards and policies regarding application/IT platform and end user customer documentation. Provides input and participates in establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications/IT platform. Provides work direction and coaching to team members and may provide input on performance and development plans. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures. May telecommute.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Business application implementation and production support experience.

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Expenses,
  • Cash Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets, SLA, Fusion Tax and Supplier Portal),
  • Oracle EBS Financials,
  • Oracle Certified Fusion Payables and Fusion Receivables implementation,
  • Oracle Application Procure-to-Pay and Oracle Order-to-Cash,
  • Identify process gaps and design process improvements in Oracle cloud ERP application,
  • Troubleshooting issues related to financials month-end/year-end closure in Oracle cloud ERP application,
  • Oracle Cloud ERP workflow approval rules and approval group configurations using BPM Worklist,
  • Creating and customizing Oracle application security roles and accesses,
  • Oracle Cloud ERP data conversion using File based Data Imports (FBDI) and Spreadsheet (ADFDI) uploads,
  • Unit, integration, and acceptance testing,
  • Creating and customizing BI Publisher, Smart View, FRS and OTBI reports,
  • Identifying, monitoring, and controlling risks related to project activities and Oracle Cloud ERP application changes; and
  • Training business users on Oracle Cloud ERP application

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of related experience (or Master's with 3 years)
  • Business application implementation and production support experience
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (General Ledger, AR, AP, Expenses, Cash Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets, SLA, Fusion Tax, Supplier Portal)
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Financials
  • Oracle Certified Fusion Payables and Fusion Receivables implementation experience
