General Overview:
We are currently partnering with a leading organization in the insurance sector to hire a Business Analyst to join their team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of software engineering and enterprise IT systems, who is passionate about driving digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, support system development, and ensure the successful delivery of digital projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams
- Support the software development lifecycle by providing clarifications, reviewing deliverables, and troubleshooting issues
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution
- Analyze business processes, operations, and customer needs to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Perform system and data analysis to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with performance standards
- Create test plans, test cases, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of digital systems and solutions
- Conduct gap analysis, including integration requirements such as APIs
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Provide training and support to internal teams on newly implemented systems
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital or technology-driven environments
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and enterprise IT systems
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis tools
- Knowledge of process mapping techniques, including flow diagrams and data models
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant analytical tools
- Prior experience within the insurance or financial services sector is highly preferred
- Experience in project management or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage
