About the role:

Join our Retail Software team in Athens and help shape the future of retail. As a Business Analyst, you'll work with global retail customers to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the in-store experience.

From digital payments and self-checkout to next-generation POS solutions, you'll contribute to projects that support leading retailers worldwide. You'll collaborate with international teams in a dynamic environment that encourages learning, innovation, and career growth.  

Location: Hybrid, Athens, Greece (3 days per week in the office). 

Responsibilities
  • Integrating certified Diebold Nixdorf hardware with retail software solutions. 
  • Developing and customizing software components aligned with architectural standards. 
  • Implementing VCO and VSS-based solutions to meet customer requirements. 
  • Analysing functional and technical specifications to support delivery activities. 
  • Contributing to solution design, configuration, validation, and deployment. 
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and driving timely resolution. 
  • Collaborating with global teams to manage escalations and defect resolution. 
  • Delivering development tasks in line with sprint and release commitments. 
  • Estimating effort, timelines, and technical impacts to support project planning. 
  • Supporting pre-sales initiatives with technical expertise and solution input. 
  • Communicating progress, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and management. 
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
Qualifications

Essential

  • 2–4 years' experience in Business Analysis and/or software development (JavaScript).
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Fluency in Greek language
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes and issue resolution.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of Windows scripting.
  • Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Desired

  • Experience with Diebold Nixdorf VCO and VSS solutions, including configuration and customization.
  • Knowledge of Diebold Nixdorf retail solutions such as Vynamic Cash and ProBase Store.
  • C++, Java OR Angular
  • Italian or Spanish language skills.
