The NASA AEGIS Program has an immediate need for a Business Integration Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the internal processes related to Information Technology (IT) Service Management are applied and used across the enterprise to ensure adherence of ITIL practices and drive high levels of accuracy. The AEGIS Program provides high quality integrated communications services for secure voice, video and data solutions and services to NASA customers worldwide.
This team also leads the effort to integrate AEGIS’ services within NASA’s Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) and AEGIS’ Service Management tools. This is accomplished by Service Request Management, Service Catalog Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management processes while collaborating with the ESD to create a positive user experience when ordering AEGIS services and request fulfillment of services by AEGIS.

Primary Skills/Responsibilities
• Leverage processes, utilizing ITIL best practices to ensure the IT organization designs, deploys, and sustains high quality, highly available solutions that align with business and IT strategic objectives.
• Ensure that IT has the appropriate level of process definition, rigor, and reporting to deliver the highest level of quality, value, flexibility, and visibility to the organization.
• Responsible for the development, improvement, standardization, and execution of process integration from an Enterprise perspective and collaboration with stakeholders to aid process design and improve efficiency of NASA processes.
• Transform AEGIS to utilize best practices in the ITIL Framework and work with ITIL process stakeholders to improve efficiency of processes across AEGIS.
• Gather and define requirements in the form of User Stories for AEGIS service requests and collaborate with ServiceNow agile teams.
• Collaborate with Change Management teams and Developer Teams to build Service Request fulfillment workflows.
• Main POC for Knowledge Articles and facilitate updates to Knowledge articles based on end user feedback and/or process changes.
• Provide metrics/reporting to management and utilize data analytics.
• Author, maintain, and review AEGIS process documents and work with stakeholders for accuracy and completion.
• Facilitate collaboration between AEGIS and other NASA organizations.
• Perform Change Management and Configuration Management duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications/Responsibilities
Educational Requirements:
BS Degree and 4+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of experience.
• Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives within Service Management processes to deliver operational results.
• Update existing Service Management systems’ tickets and Configuration Item fields.
• Apply ITIL principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to configuration management and change management.
• Experience with Change Management.
• Experience with Hardware (HW) or Software (SW) asset management.
• Good people skills and able to work with co-workers during intense periods of scheduled mandated deliverables.
• Good writing and oral skills.
• Be able to present in front of an audience that can include high level customers.
• ITIL Foundations Certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow applications.
• Experience with BMC Remedy applications.
• Experience writing User Stories for Agile teams.
• Process development and improvement skills.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Enterprise process implementation and execution.
• Basic understanding of IT networks and communication systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to maintain good working relationship with customer counterparts.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Comprehensive subject matter expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in change, configuration, release, and asset management support.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and familiarity with change management software applications, BMC Remedy and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of NASA’s IT environment
• ITIL Managing Professional or ITIL Intermediate Certifications
• Understanding of ServiceNow Flow Designer and/or Change Management and Configuration Management modules.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
