Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst on our Professional Services team, you’ll be part of a fast-moving, high-impact team of problem solvers, builders, and connectors driving transformation across our customers’ revenue teams. You’ll play a key role in delivering customer outcomes by uncovering insights, managing projects, and helping tell the story behind the data. • Manage multiple customer programs to a defined scope, schedule, and budget, using data to monitor progress and identify early signs of risk or opportunity.
• Forecast work and allocate program resources with customer buy-in
• Ensure program deliverables meet the highest quality standards
• Balance competing priorities across multiple customers and projects and prescribe trade-offs for prioritization.
• Conduct and coordinate meetings onsite and remotely in alignment with Gong's Professional Services methodology
• Execute ongoing discovery and design workshops, mapping customer use cases to Gong platform workflows using data-driven approaches.
• Provide regular communications (verbal and written) to executive leadership, project teams, and customers.
• Identify, document, and proactively mitigate program risks
• Ideate and develop new program deliverables that elevate the team process through measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data sets, identify trends, and surface actionable insights.
• Proficient in Excel, with experience in building reports, charts, pivot tables, and models; familiarity with Tableau, SQL, or other BI tools a plus.
• Experience managing or supporting projects and using data to inform schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-backed recommendations and narratives with Enterprise customers.
• Comfortable leading or contributing to customer meetings, where data is used to drive discussion, demonstrate value, and guide next steps.
• Exposure to metrics, KPIs, and performance tracking, ideally in a customer-facing or consulting environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across CS, Product, RevOps, and Enablement teams to connect insights and drive better outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, charts, and comfort with large datasets
• Exposure to or experience with project management methodologies (school, internships, or work experience)
• Comfortable presenting and communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, expecting to work closely with Enterprise Executives at large companies.
• A curious mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for solving problems with data
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and eloquent writing skills.

• Willingness to travel.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $77,000 - $90,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
