This is a hybrid role blending business analysis, operations, compliance, and project coordination.
This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must be based in the Eastern Time Zone or able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze agent activity and usage of proprietary systems and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on behaviors such as data usage without corresponding order generation; recommend and support appropriate actions (e.g., access changes).
- Produce recurring (monthly/quarterly) reporting and insights for leadership.
- Partner with leadership on enterprise risk and compliance initiatives related to agency operations.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering data, documenting processes, and tracking findings.
- Assist in audit remediation efforts, ensuring issues are resolved and properly reported.
- Participate in quarterly compliance reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Document and maintain business processes, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and training materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance controls.
- Support and/or lead operational and compliance-related projects.
- Coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., operations, underwriting, legal, sales leadership).
- Track progress, organize deliverables, and communicate updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Assist in maintaining and updating business continuity plans.
- Support periodic testing and communication efforts through internal notification systems.
- Ensure plans are reviewed and updated annually.
- Serve as a backup resource to underwriting support.
- Coordinate high-liability or complex transactions with underwriters.
- Ensure accuracy and timely handling of operational requests.
- Support data governance practices by ensuring appropriate use, access, and integrity of company data.
- Identify and escalate risks related to improper data usage.
- Leverage tools (including AI/automation) to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Recommend and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
- BS Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, compliance, or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data and identifying trends
- Exposure to compliance, audit, or risk management environments (preferred)
- Experience with process documentation and SOP creation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid role
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization (including leadership)
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
