We are looking for a Business Analyst for a hybrid opportunity in Philadelphia, PA. As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and documenting requirements to build a new application/enhance an existing application, work with a team of developers to get the requirements implemented, test the applications, and provide post-deployment onsite support.
What You’ll Do
Schedule meetings to gather, analyze, and document business and software requirements from stakeholders
Analyze business processes and translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and test cases
Communicate requirements clearly to developers, testers, and stakeholders
Create various diagrams: process flows, state, activity, sequence, swim lanes, wireframes etc.
Act as a liaison between business users and IT Teams
Perform walkthroughs and User Acceptance Testing
Create Training Documents, training users and providing support after a release
Collaborate with Developers and QA to ensure solution aligns with business goals
Maintain professional composure while communicating clearly with stakeholders, developers, and testers
Perform both functional testing and regression testing on applications
Convert requirements into test cases
Exemplify excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work with subject matter experts to address their needs
Communicate with software developers, business analysts, and testers succinctly
Demonstrated experience working on teams of varying sizes on complex projects and demanding timelines
Demonstrated ability to work alone on projects from start to finish
What You’ll Need
Required:
5+ years of Business Analyst experience
SharePoint Online (Office 365) experience
Microsoft Teams experience
GitLab or other Git repositories, JIRA experience
Proficient with design tools (i.e. Balsamiq)
MS Visio experience
Proficient in Scheduling meeting to Gather, Analyze, and document business and software requirements from stakeholders
Proficient in creating various Diagrams: Process Flows, State, Activity, Sequence, Swim lanes, Wireframes etc.
Proficient in doing Walkthroughs and User Acceptance Testing
Proficient in creating Training Documents, Training users and providing support after a release
Ability to test applications both functional Testing and regression Testing
Ability to convert Requirements into Test cases
Demonstrated experience working on teams of varying sizes on complex projects and demanding timelines
Demonstrated ability to work alone on projects from start to finish
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$65 - $73 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
