The Role
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Northern Bank is advancing its Reporting & Delivery capabilities to enable greater organizational performance and operational efficiency. We are seeking a Reporting Analyst who not only creates accurate reports and dashboards but also delivers insights with clarity and impact. This role calls for a professional who can present findings confidently, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and build strong relationships across business units.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, curious, collaborative, and proactive. This role will partner with teams throughout the organization to design, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions that drive efficiency, empower decision-making, and align with strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting & Visualization (50%)
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency through rigorous quality and validity checks.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, professional manner to diverse audiences.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation (30%)
  • Engage with stakeholders across departments (e.g., portfolio management, finance, compliance, IT) to understand reporting needs.
  • Document business requirements, process flows, and training materials with precision and clarity.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Process Improvement (20%)
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain process documentation and propose enhancements to reporting workflows.
  • Stay open to new tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve reporting and delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business analytics, preferably in financial services or technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent active listening and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Familiarity with process documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new tools or methodologies quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
NICE TO HAVES (Or Things You'll Get To Learn):
  • Exposure to data modeling or predictive analytics concepts.
  • Experience with cloud-based reporting platforms or data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.​​​​​​​
The salary range for this position is $70000 - $100000 per year
