VELUX Commercial is a division in the VELUX Group established in 2019 and comprises the former JET, Vitral and VELUX Modular Skylights organisations. Today, VELUX Commercial operates as one company with more than 1100 people in 11 countries and offers to support building professionals throughout the entire process from specification to delivery and maintenance of daylight and ventilation solutions for industrial, commercial and public buildings.
Your challenges
In this role, you will join our VELUX Commercial Configuration Management team dedicated to developing and maintaining our configuration systems. The team consists of 4 colleagues located in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
As Business Analyst you will play an instrumental role in developing and optimizing our configuration systems to enable our sales force to efficiently Configure, Price and Quote our various solutions.
Your areas of responsibility include:
- Collect, document and prioritize business requirements and convert them into clear development specifications.
- Plan and monitor progress of product backlog items in accordance to overall timeline
- Help design, document and maintain system processes
- Ensure appropriate consistency and system credibility
- Collaborate actively with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
- Develop and assist with the execution of a testing strategy
- Facilitate training sessions to ensure user adoption
- Motivated by being part of creating structure
You can expect to travel approx. 15 days per year.
Your qualifications
We expect that you have:
- A relevant master’s degree, preferably in engineering
- Ideally +3 years of experience from an Business Analyst role within IT development
- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English is a must and German a benefit
- A proactive mindset and you are able to inspire others
- A good understanding of O365, Azure DevOps is a plus
- A goal-oriented approach, you are driven by achieving results
- Strong communication skills, you communicate in a clear, fluent and precise manner
- The ability to establish and maintain relations with people at all levels, you are good at developing and maintaining networks.
