Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented Intermediate Business Analyst to join our team in supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive operational improvements and strategic change. Working within a manufacturing organization, this role offers the opportunity to lead medium-complexity analysis efforts, manage stakeholder expectations, and define solutions that enhance business capabilities. It serves as a natural next step for professionals who have already developed foundational business analysis skills and are ready to take on more independent and strategic responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Independently facilitate discussions and workshops with business units to understand problems, identify goals, and define measurable outcomes.

• Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements, specifications, and use cases that support solution design, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.

• Create detailed process flows, swimlane diagrams, and interaction models that illustrate current operations and support future-state design decisions.

• Manage requirements from identification through validation and approval, ensuring alignment with business goals and traceability through implementation and testing.

• Evaluate the operational and organizational impact of proposed changes and provide clear recommendations that balance efficiency, risk, and feasibility.

• Partner with system architects, developers, and product owners to ensure solutions meet the documented requirements and align with user expectations.

• Contribute to planning activities, timelines, and deliverable tracking across initiatives. Help identify dependencies, issues, and escalation needs.

• Define test conditions and expected outcomes. Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify that solutions meet the original requirements.

• Collect and analyze feedback from users post-implementation to identify system enhancement opportunities and lessons learned.

• Develop end-user training materials and independently deliver training sessions to ensure users understand new processes, functionality and are prepared for successful adoption.

Qualifications

1. Experience:

   • 3–5 years of experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role.

   • Proven ability to independently lead requirements definition and stakeholder engagement across business functions.

   • Experience supporting process improvement or systems change in complex, cross-departmental environments.

2. Education:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.

   • Experience with process modeling and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi).

   • Familiarity with requirements tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).

   • Understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) is an asset, but not required.

4. Core Competencies:

   • Problem solving and decision support: Capable of exploring complex issues and proposing actionable recommendations that support strategic goals.

   • Communication and facilitation: Skilled at engaging with stakeholders at various levels and adapting communication style for clarity and collaboration.

   • Analytical thinking: Able to evaluate multiple perspectives, assess trade-offs, and build structured cases to support business decisions.

   • Detail orientation and follow-through: Reliable in tracking and documenting decisions, assumptions, and updates throughout a project’s lifecycle.

   • Team collaboration: Actively contributes to team efforts and takes ownership of assigned initiatives.
