Requirements Engineering: Gather, analyze, and document business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
System Integration: Collaborate with developers, data architects, and IT teams to ensure smooth software delivery and system integrations.
Data Analysis: Query, analyze, and validate data sets using SQL, Excel, and business intelligence reporting tools.
Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Proficiencies: Advanced SQL, data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and tracking platforms (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Methodologies: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, plus strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
Certifications (Preferred): Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or IIBA credentials.
Business Analyst must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field and a minimum of one (I) year of experience in the field or in a related area, or a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited college, university, or business school in computer science or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of full-time computer programming experience, or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Business Analyst must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within application development. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
