Lead and manage complex engineering projects at the Savannah River Site: develop technical programs, set schedules/budgets, integrate resources, oversee project controls/document control, mentor staff, resolve technical conflicts, and ensure quality and compliance. Provide technical direction, prepare plans/reports, and represent SRNS externally.

Lead cost and project controls activities including developing and maintaining financial analysis tools, variance and scenario analysis, change impact assessments, change log maintenance, coordination with project teams, compliance monitoring, reporting, risk identification, and document-control coordination to maintain cost and schedule control across project lifecycle.

Lead project controls for large construction projects: manage scheduling, cost control, forecasts, reporting, WBS, EVM, risk management, audits, and client presentations. Provide training, field audits, forensic analysis, and coordination with project management, accounting, procurement, and contractors.

Develop, review, and issue complex work packages for maintenance/modification activities; interpret electrical/mechanical drawings; ensure safety, lockout/tagout, radiological and QA controls; coordinate teams and analyze time/materials; support preventive/corrective maintenance at a DOE site.

Coordinate engineering and construction projects by supporting the Project Manager: prepare documentation and reports, run PPS reports, manage meetings and training, monitor deadlines, verify invoices, assist with contracts, manage project closeout, and maintain electronic and paper project records.

Design, develop, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for advanced microreactors. Define requirements, produce designs/drawings/specifications, support procurement and construction, execute qualification/startup testing, maintain system configuration, and ensure operational readiness and safety.

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas. Support ETL and data integration using Microsoft stack (SSIS, ADF, .NET), perform data modeling, ensure data integrity and security, troubleshoot performance issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Lead project controls for large construction projects including schedule and cost management, reporting, WBS validation, EVM and cash flow analysis. Develop reporting warehouses, conduct field audits and forensic analysis, support contract negotiations, lead IPPMs, and provide training and client-facing presentations.

Operate and drive straight, articulated, and special-purpose trucks to haul personnel and materials. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules; perform preventive maintenance, trip inspections, and emergency roadside repairs; record cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. Must be hired from the local union hall, hold journeyman qualifications and vehicle-appropriate licenses, and meet U.S. citizenship/certification requirements. Work week is 60 hours.

Lead process engineering for DOE/DOD projects including nuclear or energetics system design, safety requirements implementation, PFD/P&ID development, equipment sizing, process simulation, project execution from FEED to EPC, discipline leadership, proposal support, and quality reviews. Travel ~25%; PE preferred and must obtain DoE/DoD clearance.

Develop and revise training by performing task analyses, designing objectives, and creating classroom, computer-based, and OJT training and assessments for operations and engineering staff at Hanford. Support emergent training assignments, complete monthly status spreadsheets, and coordinate with Operations and Engineering Training Managers to ensure training meets requirements.

Lead project controls to ensure projects meet budget and schedule: set up planning software, create WBS, develop schedules, cost reports, cash flows, forecasts, and EVM. Perform schedule analysis, resource loading, material takeoffs, field audits, change order reviews, and support project teams and audits.

Perform intermediate-complexity process engineering for EPC projects: develop specifications, perform calculations, support procurement and construction, coordinate disciplines, produce P&IDs/PFDs, participate in HazOp/PHAs, and ensure compliance with DOE and applicable codes.

Train maintenance staff to create, update, and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6. Develop and manage Plan of the Day/Week/Month, support preventive maintenance scheduling, outage planning and outage management, optimize sequencing and resources, and institutionalize P6 scheduling practices into the maintenance program.
