We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join our Digital Delivery & Change team, who are responsible for delivery of enterprise-wide programmes and projects, mostly sponsored by the Business Operations and Finance functions.
This role is responsible for introducing and managing business change by defining the business needs and identifying solutions, impacts, problems and risks to deliver change successfully on a broad range of change programmes and projects, including business transformation, process improvement and technology design/implementation.
This role can be based out of any of our London, Birmingham or Manchester offices, we operate a 3 days from the office 2 days form home hybrid model and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience working as a business analyst within a programme and project delivery environment, on a mix of technology and business change projects across the full project lifecycle - ideally in a legal or professional services setting.
- Experienced in modelling including the use of appropriate modelling tools, techniques, and standards.
- Proven experience of following business analysis best practices, policies, procedures, and processes with the ability to adapt them as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the change programme or project.
- Understanding of product management principles and product ownership techniques to support the creation of themes, epics, features and user stories aligned to business plans and strategic technology roadmap.
- An ability to build rapport and strong working relationships with business stakeholders at all levels; confident approach, the ability to challenge and influence the status quo when required and effectively manage business expectations.
- Expert in workshop facilitation and customer engagement techniques across multiple locations with the ability to influence, negotiate and gain consensus where conflicting viewpoints may exist.
- Understanding of core legal systems, e.g. iManage Work, Aderant Practice Management System and Interaction CRM is preferred but not essential.
