Business Analyst
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Change and Transformation team at Mercer. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This Business Analyst role will support customer experience activities within the Mercer Super Portfolio function, with a key focus on a large-scale rebrand project. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs, define requirements, support solution design, and help deliver outcomes that meet the needs of the organisation and clients.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract
We will count on you to:
- Plan the most effective approach and techniques for each project or piece of work
- Analyse, elicit, document and validate requirements using suitable business analysis methods
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, manage relationships and maintain clear requirements traceability
- Support solution analysis, functional specifications, current state and future state mapping, gap analysis and impact assessment
- Assist with test activities, including triage and impact analysis, and contribute to risk management and business case development
- Share learnings, support peer reviews, mentor team members and identify ways to improve efficiency and re-use artefacts

- Demonstrated experience applying multiple business analysis methodologies and tools
- Well-developed communication, listening and stakeholder engagement skills
- Working knowledge of business analysis planning, elicitation, requirements lifecycle management, strategy analysis, design definition and solution evaluation
- Experience working in agile, lean and waterfall delivery environments
