RequirementsResponsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and systems.
Analyze and document detailed business requirements, including business rules, functional specifications, and system requirements.
Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
Translate business needs into software requirements that are clear, precise, and actionable for developers.
Work with the project manager to prioritize requirements based on business value and technical complexity.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that the requirements are implemented as intended.
Develop user stories and use cases that explain the requirements in a way that is easily understood by both business and technical team members.
Create data flow diagrams, process models, and wireframes to assist with design and development.
Support the Quality Assurance team in creating test plans and validating test results.
Participate in the Agile/Scrum process, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Conduct business and systems analysis and design; understands user interface design.
Assist with change management and user adoption of the system.
Perform user acceptance testing and ensure the developed software meets the business requirements.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a custom software development environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
Familiarity with business analysis tools for requirements management, process modeling, and wireframing (e.g., JIRA, Balsamiq, Lucidchart).
Understanding of databases, SQL, and other query languages.
Knowledge of user experience design and user testing principles.
Availability to work flexible hours when necessary to accommodate international clients or teams.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or other large integrated systems.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
