We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and technology teams by analyzing logistics processes, gathering business requirements, and translating business needs into functional solutions. This position will be Full-time, Onsite – Gurugram.
What You'll Do
Interact with business stakeholders, operations teams, finance, customer service, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements
Analyze logistics processes including booking, pickup, transportation, transshipment, delivery, billing, freight calculation, POD management, and shipment tracking
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases
Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and gap analysis sessions
Coordinate with development, QA, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle
Validate functional solutions and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Monitor change requests, enhancements, and production issues and perform business impact analysis
Ensure solutions align with operational processes, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments
Support implementation, rollout, training, and post-go-live stabilization activities
Prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights for management review
Participate in digital transformation initiatives focused on logistics automation and process optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
Experience as a Business Analyst within the Logistics, Transportation, Freight, or Supply Chain domain
Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain operations
Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and freight operations
Experience in business requirement gathering and functional documentation
Expertise in preparing BRD, FRS, user stories, use cases, and process flow documents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, reporting tools, and process mapping tools
Experience coordinating with development and testing teams
Experience supporting UAT activities and solution validation
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred:
Experience in Express Logistics, Surface Transportation, Distribution, or Supply Chain Operations
Knowledge of E-way Bill and GST-related logistics processes
Experience supporting Last-Mile Delivery Operations
Understanding of Hub-and-Spoke Transportation Networks
Experience with Reverse Logistics processes
Exposure to APIs, system integrations, and data flow mapping
Experience working with Logistics ERP platforms
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience in process automation and digital transformation initiatives
Knowledge of SLA, KPI, TAT, and logistics performance metrics
MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics is an added advantage
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
