We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Belgrade and support the development of our patent intelligence products. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Content Operations, and Engineering teams to understand business needs, define clear requirements, and support product and content improvements through analysis and reporting.
About you – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar role including at least 1 year of working with analytical and collaboration tools such as Excel, Power BI, Jira and Confluence
- Proficiency in English
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

What will you be doing in this role?
- Partner with Product, Content Operations, and Engineering teams to understand business needs and support product and content initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to evaluate opportunities, define requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of patent intelligence products.
- Analyze product, content, and operational information to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support the evaluation, integration, and ongoing management of patent content and data sources across multiple products.
- Investigate content, product, and system-related issues, perform analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation that support informed decision-making and ongoing product development.
- Prepare recurring insights and recommendations to support product planning, prioritization, and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders across product, content, and technology teams to ensure business needs are understood and addressed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, content quality, and product performance.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
About the Team
You’ll be part of a global team supporting patent intelligence products, including Derwent and other IP-focused solutions used by professionals worldwide. The team works closely with Product, Content Operations, and Engineering to deliver high-quality patent intelligence solutions used by customers worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of product development, content expertise, and business analysis, helping drive product improvements and support strategic decision-making. You will report directly to Director, Product Management.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.
This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
