Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirement gathering and strategic planning for complex technical projects. You will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business goals into high-quality technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Leadership: Lead end-to-end requirement elicitation sessions, workshops, and backlog grooming with stakeholders.
- Documentation: Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Data Analysis: Execute advanced SQL queries to analyse business data, identify trends, and support decision-making without relying on developers.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations across cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Engineering) and negotiate scope/timelines effectively.
- Solution Validation: Collaborate with Architects to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business value.
Required Skills
- Experience: 7+ years as a BA in software development or data-centric projects.
- Technical: Strong proficiency in SQL (Joins, Aggregations) and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Process: Expert in Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Skills Required
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or data-centric projects
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins and aggregations
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
