Business Analyst / Scrum Master (Hybrid Role)

This person is expected to perform 50% of the time as a scrum master and 50% of the time as a business analyst.

Scrum Master

• Establish and communicate project plans and milestones to the leadership.

• Help the team with iteration planning, backlog prioritization, and retrospect meetings.

• Help the team resolve any roadblocks and manage dependencies.

• Manage work assignments, monitor team velocity, and team member utilization.

• Manage and communicate deployment and release schedules.

• Monitor team spending vs budget and communicate to the leadership.

• Ensure that the team delivers value every two weeks.

Business Analyst

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business users, optimizing the business users’ time.

• Work with architects and businesses to document non-functional requirements.

• Ensure that the architects, developers, and testers understand the requirements without any ambiguity.

• Help team with work decomposition and prioritization

Some of the skills we are expecting are. . . 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study 

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Scrum Master or related role.  

• Highly polished communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) 

• Unmatched analysis skills required, with experience in understanding business needs and translating those needs into actionable requirements. 

• Natural facilitator and problem solver 

• Relentlessly people focused 

• Continuously driven to learn 

• Experience working both independently and in a highly collaborative team setting. 

• Experience working in an environment with deadlines.  

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar task tracking tool.  

• Experience with Office 365, Google suite, MS Visio, LucidChart, or Miro 

• Experience working with one or more project types (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
