Business Analyst - Quality

Position Summary

The QA Business Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the Supplier & Customer Quality related processes and implement them across the supply chain in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This person should have a strong ability to analyze the data related to customer installs & supplier performance metrics by using quantitative & qualitative data analytical tools.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review the multiple streams of incoming data related to customer installs & Supplier performance metrics
• Identify leading indicators needing improvement for enhancing Customer Install experience
• Collaborate with quality team in driving those improvements across the supply chain teams
• Develop tools to monitor performance improvements
• Develop workflows to eliminate inefficiencies on Supplier Management Processes
• Develop tools to generate metrics dashboards & for Visual Factory suite
• Manage and resolve crisis tasks that may arise.
• Support ad-hoc analysis.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Training and/or Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in similar Analyst roles
• Knowledge of Analytical tools – Minitab, SPSS or R
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Tools
• Experience with Oracle.
• Microsoft Office: Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of math and logical thinking
• Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs, translate them into application and operational requirements, and analyze tradeoffs.
• Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
• Experience in data mining & application of analytical tools

Education:

Master’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
