  • 3+ years of mortgage industry experience required, preferably within non-Agency, Non-QM, Jumbo, Correspondent, Wholesale, or Capital Markets environments.
  • Experience leading or supporting technology implementation projects.
  • Experience working with workflow automation, AI, machine learning, large language models, or intelligent process automation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage origination, underwriting, loan operations, secondary marketing, or capital markets functions.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies preferred.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools, workflow mapping, and documentation platforms.

Key Competencies:
  • Loan Origination Process Analysis: Evaluates loan origination and acquisition workflows, identifies process gaps and inefficiencies, and recommends scalable technology solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

  • AI & Automation Acumen: Identifies practical opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline loan origination processes, reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and support better decision-making.
  • Requirements & Solution Design: Translates mortgage business requirements, product guidelines, and operational needs into user stories, workflows, functional requirements, and scalable technology solutions.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Looks beyond existing processes to identify better ways to support loan acquisition and origination, balancing business objectives, technology capabilities, and operational requirements.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Builds strong partnerships across mortgage operations, product, technology, and leadership teams to prioritize initiatives and drive system enhancements from discovery through implementation.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Supports testing, implementation, training, and adoption of loan origination system enhancements and new technology-enabled processes.

How This Role Demonstrates Our Values:
  • Integrity: Ensures loan origination system enhancements, automation, and AI solutions align with lending guidelines, regulatory requirements, and responsible business practices.
