OPERATIONS 
 
The Operations team serves as the backbone of our marketplace, seamlessly managing the entire order journey. From creating online content and ensuring secure payments to order fulfillment and delivery, while providing comprehensive customer and partner care, this team is relentlessly focused on improving the customer experience every single day.

Our office is near Porto, in the north of Portugal, and is located in a vibrant business hub. It offers a dynamic and welcoming environment where our employees can connect and network with a large community of tech professionals. 
 
THE ROLE
 
As a Business Analyst in the Landed Costs team, you will be at the heart of Farfetch’s global growth engine. You won't just track data; you will optimize the complex financial and operational ecosystem that allows a customer in Tokyo to seamlessly buy from a boutique in Paris. You will gain a deep understanding of cross-border trade, B2C logistics, and the unit economics of the world’s leading luxury platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive Profitability: Simulate impacts and propose creative solutions to optimize Order Contribution and landed cost accuracy.

  • Own the Narrative: Define KPIs and build sophisticated dashboards (Looker/BigQuery) that translate complex data into actionable insights for global stakeholders.

  • Product Innovation: Act as the data lead for Landed Cost Management tools, partnering with Tech teams to develop Machine Learning services and automation tools.

  • Strategic Project Lead: Represent Logistics in cross-functional, end-to-end projects, ensuring data-driven decisions guide our international trade strategy.

  • Global Liaison: Act as the bridge between internal operations and external partners, ensuring delivery performance and cost metrics are optimized worldwide.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Background: You hold a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related quantitative field.

  • The Data Expert: You have 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics. You are a SQL expert (BigQuery experience is a major win) and have a mastery of Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Visual Storyteller: You are proficient in BI tools; if you know Looker, you’ll hit the ground running.

  • Strategic Thinker: You don't just find problems; you model the solutions. You have a customer-first mindset and understand how logistics costs impact the final UX.

  • Agile & Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple deadlines under pressure, and possess "high learnability" (you pick up new tools and industries fast).

  • Communicator: You are fluent in English and capable of explaining technical data to non-technical audiences.

  • Bonus Points: Experience in B2B operations or a genuine passion for the intersection of luxury fashion and high-scale technology.
