Job Summary
Program Structure
- 6 functional rotations + 1-month orientation, 3–5 months per rotation
- Each rotation pairs ~80% functional immersion with assigned cross-functional projects, an executive shadow, and targeted enterprise training
- Progresses from transactional finance operations through specialty functions to a capstone in Global Controllership
Rotation Schedule & Key Responsibilities
Orientation
- Learn Pinnacle's business model and the contingent workforce industry
- Understand finance org structure and key stakeholders
- Complete core systems and policy onboarding
Rotation 1 – Finance Operations: AR & AP
- Manage order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles
- Support billing, collections, and dispute resolution
- Handle supplier payments and vendor management
- Apply working capital fundamentals and MSP program operations
Rotation 2 – Financial Systems
- Work within ERP architecture and chart of accounts
- Support cross-functional system integrations
- Use reporting tools and manage data flows
- Support MSP program deployments
Rotation 3 – General Accounting
- Execute month- and quarter-end close cadence
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Support financial statement preparation
- Assist with audit support and SOX basics
Rotation 4 – Treasury & Tax
- Perform cash management and liquidity forecasting
- Support banking relationships and debt covenant compliance
- Apply FX exposure and hedging fundamentals
- Support federal, state, and indirect tax compliance, plus tax provision and global tax structure
Rotation 5 – FP&A
- Support annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles
- Conduct variance analysis and management reporting
- Contribute to long-range planning and scenario modeling
- Partner with commercial and operations teams
- Support board and executive reporting
Rotation 6 – Global Controllership
- Support multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Apply technical accounting and policy guidance
- Assist with external reporting and audit coordination
- Gain functional team leadership exposure
- Synthesize learning across prior rotations to inform placement planning
Qualifications
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, completed within the past 0–12 months
- Strong academic performance (e.g., 3.3+ GPA)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; exposure to ERP systems a plus
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership or cross-functional project experience (internships, coursework, extracurriculars)
- Willingness to rotate across finance functions and relocate/travel as needed
- Interest in the staffing/contingent workforce management industry a plus
