Brown & Brown is seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team. The Business Analyst – AI will support the successful delivery of AI initiatives by identifying business needs, translating them into actionable requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable value. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to bridge business strategy with technical execution.
How You Will Contribute:
Business Analysis and Requirements Management
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and define AI use cases aligned with strategic goals.
- Translate business challenges into clear problem statements and solution requirements.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements for AI models, data pipelines, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to validate feasibility and scope.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Data and Model Understanding
- Work with data teams to identify relevant data sources and assess data quality.
- Understand the lifecycle of AI models, including training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Assist in defining success metrics and performance benchmarks for AI solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather insights and feedback.
- Prepare and deliver clear documentation, reports, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficient in adapting communication strategies to effectively engage stakeholders with diverse communication styles.
Project Support and Value Realization
- Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery of business analysis artifacts.
- Support change management and adoption efforts for AI-enabled solutions.
- Help measure and report on business impact, ROI, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Skills and Experience to be Successful
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or product ownership, with exposure to AI, ML, or advanced analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of AI solution lifecycle and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven track record of driving developer accountability and adherence by implementing structured accountability frameworks, and executing timely escalation protocols
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps practices.
- Familiarity with data governance and responsible AI principles.
Pay Range
$80,000 - $100,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
