About this PositionThe Business Analyst 2 leads assigned projects for the Underwriting and Claims departments at Primerica. The Analyst takes an active role in design and development of solutions within the business unit using some third-party applications. The Business Analyst 3 is expected to be extremely adaptable and have the ability to work on multiple projects and systems concurrently.This is a hybrid work position. Open to local candidates only able to report directly to the Duluth, GA Home Office.
The salary range for this role is $70k - $80k.Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, develops, and implements projects in Low Code environments
Acts as SME for Third Party applications
Writes detailed project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications
Leads and directs user testing
Works with internal teams and third-party vendors to complete projects
Troubleshoots applications and provides production support
Maintains enhancement and backlog list
Required Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree, MIS degree preferred, or equivalent business experience
3-5 years progressive analysis or information systems experience
2 years experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent business and technical experience
Experience using and developing in a Low Code environment such as Firelight, Nautilus, On-Base, Pega, or similar
Ability to read, create, classify, and document business rules in a variety of languages (C#, HTML, VB, etc.) is a plus
In depth understanding of if / then statements and loops are essential
Ability to work on-site and remote
Excellent presentation, organizational, verbal and written skills
SQL or MS Access database experience is a plus
Jira knowledge/experience is a plus
Ability to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, internal and external department management and vendors
Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform assigned tasks within specified time frames
