About this PositionPrimerica is looking for an experienced Business Analyst, able to work with different IPS projects. Able to work on medium-to-large strategic projects with minimal to no supervision, that involve dependencies across departments. Requires working knowledge on business methods, processes, requirements, and standards. Able to communicate with multiple project stakeholders including business owners, development, QA, marketing, and legal.This is a hybrid role in Duluth, GA.
The salary range for this role is $65k - $75k.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identifies key business requirements through various methods including interviews, end user feedback, technical support content, and requirements meetings.
- Documents business requirements in a suitable format that communicates the specific functionality developed for the project.
- Analyzes current state of the application and creates target state documentation including wireframe, process model (BPMN 2.0), and business rules etc.
- Works closely with the Design team to ensure that final UI is in adherence to the documented business requirements.
- Acts as liaison between business and IT, including Compliance, to obtain input and approval on all materials where appropriate.
- User Acceptance Testing - Creates and executes user acceptance test plans derived from BRD. Partners with business stakeholders. Instructs QA testers when necessary.
- Develops expertise in the tools and techniques required to produce documentation, training, and online help materials.
- Project status reporting / communication - Maintains up to date project status and distributes updates to stakeholders according to department standards. Maintains consistent project communication to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifies and escalates risks and issues to the team.
- Protects the Company’s authority to conduct business by complying with applicable legal and ethical standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment
- Experience working in an agile Scrum development environment, preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to clearly communicate business methods, processes, requirements, and standards to multiple project stakeholders including development, QA, business team, marketing, and legal.
- Ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision.
- Strong written communication skills with ability to creatively design documentation that meets and/or exceeds the end-users’ expectations and the overall objective of the documentation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in different software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
Software Experience:
- Moderate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Jira, Confluence experience Required.
- Smartsheet & Process Modeling tools like Lucid Chart/Draw.io preferred.
- Power BI & SQL experience preferred.
