STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.
- Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
- Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
- Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
- Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.
Required:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of design codes and standards.

Compensation Range:
