Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Budget Analysts (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in El Segundo, CA
This position will seek to meet the financial goals and objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Functional Business Management for an organization: indirect expense planning and monitoring, time charging and compliance policy guidance, manpower forecasting, and other activities.
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication skills are imperative to the successful execution of job responsibilities. Candidate will need very strong technical skills with Excel, strong analytical and organizational skills. Communication and presentation skills are a requirement for the position due to frequent interaction with all levels of management (Director, Center Managers, Department Managers, Section Managers, Technical Staff).
This position may be filled at either the Level 2 or Level 3 Budget Analyst depending upon candidates, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.
Level 2 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters Degree.
Experience with Excel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Level 3 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience with Excel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of qualifying professional or military experience, or a master’s degree for Level 2
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of qualifying professional or military experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience for Level 3
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
