The Role

The Role
We've recently introduced Cash App Investing and now you can instantly buy stock in your favorite companies with as little as $1 using our free fractional trading feature! We're looking for passionate team members to join our broker-dealer subsidiary, Cash App Investing LLC. You are someone who has deep experience in brokerage operations.
Position Overview:

  • Report to the Brokerage Operations Accounts Lead within the Account Operations team at Cash App Investing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on strategic programs related to brokerage functions.


You Will

  • Document and update standard operating procedures and job aids.
  • Identify process improvements with respective teams.
  • Scale processes to enhance broker-dealer operations.
  • Collaborate with peers to support operational functions and offer feedback.
  • Review and manage accounts following firm policies and procedures.
  • Help establish controls, metrics, and data in partnership with Data Science for brokerage operations.
  • Work with lead, peers, and teams to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Perform daily operational processing and maintain records according to Written Supervisory Procedures.
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of SEC/FINRA regulations relevant to the role.
  • Collaborate with engineering, support, and product teams to improve back-office efficiency and risk operations.


You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in brokerage operations.
  • Brokerage operations generalist, you have worked in multiple functions of a brokerage operations team which may include accounts, risk, fraud, trading, etc.
  • Functional experience with SQL, Looker / Tableau or other data analytics tools.
  • Expert experience with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Technical experience scaling processes or managing projects
  • FINRA Licenses: Series 7 & 63 required.
  • Knowledge and respect for SEC/FINRA regulatory and compliance rules and regulations.
  • Team player and willing to jump in and help others.
  • Well versed in collaborating with peer disciplines such as Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance etc

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
