We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel who will report to the General Counsel as part of our team in Rome.
Your opportunity
This is a challenging position in a stimulating environment where you will join Legal Department in the management of legal matters, in particular commercial contracts, intellectual property related matters and corporate.
How you will contribute
You will provide support to the Legal Team, among others, in the following activities:
- Support in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts (both in English and Italian), such as but not limited to:
distribution agreements, license and franchise agreements, service agreements, lease agreements, NDAs, etc.
- Intellectual property issues in relation trademarks’ portfolio
- Manage corporate matters such as drafting of meeting minutes, PoAs, keeping up-to-date Company books, records and database
- Manage the relationship with international law consultants
Who you are
Qualifications, skills and professional experience:
- Master’s Degree in Law
- Admitted to the Italian BAR
- At least 4/5 years of professional experience gained in first ranked international law firms
- Additional experience in international companies in luxury/fashion/jewellery industry is a plus
- English fluency (at least C1). Knowledge of French is a plus
- Strong communications and relationships skills; teamwork oriented
- Stress management, resiliency
- Proactive, motivated, with a positive attitude, flexible and able to adapt to a constant changing environment
- Ability to work in a precise, pragmatic, and hands-on manner, demonstrating problem-solving attitude
