You set and lead the global brand strategy, secure awareness, perception and consideration across every touchpoint. Your Responsibilities: 

As Brand & Marketing Director, you set and lead the teams towards the strategic direction. You lead a full discipline function including creative content & studio, media placement, branding, communications and full channel teams to secure 360 brand experience cross channels.   

What you will do: 

  • Define, secure and execute ARKET’s global Brand & Marketing strategy and direction 
  • Secure creative storytelling and brand consistency across all channels globally 
  • Use customer insights to enhance customer experience and deliver impactful campaigns to drive sales 
  • Explore new marketing opportunities, channels and collaborations 
  • Responsible for functional budget and follow up to secure priorities and impact  
  • Work closely together with Design, Assortment and Customer Experience & Sales to secure holistic brand experience 
  • Responsible for all external and internal communication including crisis communication 
  • Lead and inspire the teams of 50 professionals  
  • As part of the Executive management team, you are part in shaping the future of ARKET. 

Who you’ll work with: 
Apart from the Brand & Marketing department and the management team you will also work closely together with managers from other parts of the business as well as collaborating with dotted-line teams in China and Korea. You have many external and internal partners such as agencies, creative contributors and platforms. 
You report to the Managing Director.  

Qualifications

We are looking for people with… 

  • 10 + years’ experience within Brand, Marketing and Communications 
  • Proven track record of delivering and executing brand strategies and drive business results in a full function responsibility  
  • Experience in driving and follow up successful 360 commercial campaigns 
  • Extensive leadership experience with proven track record in building strong teams, reach shared goals as well as leading managers 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills who manage to bring teams onboard to reach direction, prioritize and execute 
  • An ability to transform customer insights to measurable actions  
  • Experience within the fashion and retail industry is required 
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. 
  • A degree within marketing is meriting

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Södermalm Stockholm
