The Role

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the brand strategy for EML Group across both existing and prospective markets, aligning with strategically valued partnerships, events, and sponsorships to maximise our presence across digital, print, and broader market channels.
You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing and Communication Specialists to elevate brand placement and impact, while also building and maintaining strong relationships across the business and with key external stakeholders.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days  per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of a cohesive brand strategy aligned with company goals, including brand guidelines and consistent messaging across all platforms and materials.
  • Strengthen brand identity by ensuring alignment across digital channels, product marketing, internal communications, and industry events, reinforcing our leadership in personal injury.
  • Create and oversee engaging content, such as LinkedIn posts, whitepapers, case studies, and media promotion of company achievements, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic communication support for webinars, conferences, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives, partnering closely with the Event Specialist and leadership team.
  • Manage media buying and campaign execution, including strategy development, day-to-day management, performance reporting, and budget oversight.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally, offering communication counsel, negotiating partnerships, and driving activation of brand strategies in existing and new markets.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • 5 + years’ experience in brand strategy and development, with a strong focus on market research, competitor analysis, and translating strategic objectives into impactful digital marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in digital marketing, with proven ability to deliver across SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities while meeting key deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and design software, with experience in insurance or financial services considered an advantage.
