The Opportunity :-
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Brand Manager to assume a pivotal role within our marketing organization. This position is instrumental in driving brand strategy, spearheading activation initiatives, and leading brand growth agenda in the dynamic Indian market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leading strong insight led brand campaigns that deliver tangible business results for the brand, a strong HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE: understanding of channels (both traditional and emerging) and an ability to drive collaborative leadership with cross functional teams to drive high performance. The ideal candidate displays a strong ownership mindset, an ability to be agile and think outside the box and an obsession for excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities : -
The Brand Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of activities, encompassing:
Brand Strategy & Development:• Formulate and execute robust brand plans, meticulously aligned with overarching business objectives and deep market insights pertinent to the Indian landscape.• Conduct continuous analysis of market trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving consumer behaviors to proactively identify strategic opportunities and mitigate potential threats.• Contribute substantively to the long-range vision and strategic roadmap for the brand portfolio.
Brand Activation & Campaign Management:• Lead the conceptualization, development, and flawless execution of integrated brand activation HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE: campaigns within the Indian market. This requires a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in managing and delivering impactful activation programs.• Oversee the end-to-end management of integrated marketing communication (IMC) plans across diverse channels, including but not limited to digital platforms, Above-The-Line (ATL), Below-The-Line (BTL), and trade marketing initiatives.• Cultivate effective collaborations with creative agencies, media partners, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely deployment and optimized performance of campaigns.
Brand Equity Enhancement:• Act as a steward of brand guidelines, ensuring absolute consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and consumer experience across all touchpoints.• Proactively identify and implement strategies to elevate brand perception, relevance, and competitive distinctiveness.
Market & Consumer Insight Generation:• Leverage sophisticated market research methodologies and advanced data analytics to derive profound consumer insights, translating them into actionable and impactful brand strategies.• Conduct rigorous performance evaluations of brand and marketing initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous optimization and strategic adjustments.
Financial & PnL Ownership: • Expertise and understanding all revenue and cost drivers of brand PnL. Actively identifying opportunities and engaging with respective line owner functions on progressing these.• Exercise diligent management of marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and demonstrating a strong return on investment (ROI).• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and brand health metrics, providing regular analytical reports to stakeholders.
Cross-functional Leadership & Collaboration: • Engage in seamless collaboration with Sales, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure complete alignment and coordinated execution of brand strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS • Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a Tier 1 Business School is an essential prerequisite.• A minimum of 5 to 6 years of progressive experience specifically in brand activation and brand equity management.• Demonstrable expertise within the Indian consumer market.
