About the role .
As the Brand Manager for Foodservice (FS) and Local Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will play a vital role in identifying and leveraging growth opportunities within the potato and appetizer categories for Iberia. Your position supports regional business objectives by collaborating closely with local commercial teams, the Iberia Marketing Manager, and the Central European Marketing team. You will be instrumental in expanding McCain's business, strengthening brand awareness in the Iberia Food Service market, and delivering on our 2030 ambition and growth plans. You will report to the Marketing Manager FS & Local QSR Iberia.
What you'll be doing.
- Implementation of marketing plans ensuring the effective deployment, communication, and promotion of McCain products with distributors and restaurant operators to reinforce long‑term brand growth.
- Build robust market, category, and competitive intelligence by mapping trends, identifying opportunities, and analyzing competitor pricing, strengths, and product portfolios to deliver actionable insights to internal teams.
- Track and evaluate brand and category performance, including innovation results and key success stories.
- Support and execute market research initiatives and targeted investigations to gather customer, consumer, and category insights that inform strategic planning.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on customer engagement, joint business planning, category storytelling, and growth‑driving activations.
- Serve as the category expert, delivering strategic recommendations, in‑depth category analyses, and guidance to support commercial strategy.
- Manage and update selling and promotional materials, coordinating with agencies and vendors, and oversee marketing requisitions and budget‑related processes.
- Lead innovation launch execution, including development of communication assets, product testing/menu inspiration, promotional planning, and participation in trade fairs.
- Accelerate digital activation and transformation by creating and adapting content, executing campaigns, and managing regional digital channels-including websites, SEO, and social media-to boost customer engagement.
- Supervising the organization of visits of cooperating teams to Madrid office perform product testing, as well as organizing participation in events and fairs.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Marketing background, preferably in Foodservice (FS)
- 2+ years of experience in an FMCG company
- Excellent communication skills, written & spoken
- Passion for food and the foodservice market (must enjoy interacting with customers)
- Strong command of Spanish & English (written & spoken); Portuguese is advantageous but not required
- Solid knowledge of digital ecosystems (website, social media, SEO, CRM)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with digital tools/programs (Social Media, websites, Photoshop, InDesign) desirable
- Project management skills
- Team player, proactive, entrepreneurial, structured, able to work independently
- Confident and persuasive in presenting ideas
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Passion for food and foodservice market

About the team .
The Brand Manager Iberia is part of the Foodservice Business Iberia team based in Madrid, working daily with commercial, innovation, and Central European marketing colleagues. The team closely collaborates with Sales, Distributor Partners, Agencies, and Customers, leveraging insights and strategic direction to deliver business growth. The role does not have direct reports but functions as a key subject matter expert within a wider collaborative group.
