As we target to create the best FAST MOVING CONSUMER HEALTH company, one other key driver of our success will be our agility – so we are on an exciting journey to create a fully standalone CHC business (separating the Business Unit from our Pharma company heritage, processes etc.), which will require us to retain, attract and grow the best leaders in our industry. In Germany the local organisation is currently still part of Sanofi SADG. A potential carve-out process to separate the local CHC Organisation (in Germany called Nattermann & Cie GmbH) from Sanofi has been envisaged to happen earliest in Q4 2024.
One other key drivers for our success will also be a successful culture change where the entire local German organisation understands and “lives” our “challenger mindset culture” – building the skillset of strategic thinking, result orientation, people leadership, relationship and influence, as well as Stretching ourselves in new topics and tasks, Taking Action where our engagement is needed, giving and treasuring Feedback and valueing togertheness at all times – for this we are looking for people who identify with our culture and who would like to contribute towards this cultural change.
Key to the success of the German organisation is also our desire to become a “Fast Moving Consumer Health Company” with a real omni channel approach.
We are lead country in e-commerce and optimized our omni channel approach so to grow in new business areas without losing in our traditional channel. This requires a disciplined focus approach in the traditional pharmacy trade business and wholesale with a real partnership mindset. Excellence in fully integrated campaigns and a full-funnel marketing approach placing the consumer/patient at the centre of our thinking, but also reaching him via the pharmacy or online pharmacy or platforms is key to our success in Germany
We are convinced that key to this are our “love brands”. We are constantly aiming to charge our love brands with with “desirability”, innovation and purpose, which we believe will enable us to keep our competitive edge and innovation leadership in key categories.

Main responsibilities
Managing an end-to-end Consumer and shopper engagement journey for the German CHC business, responsible for the category growth teams including Brand management, CMI, Digital, Media, Innovation, Consumer/HCP and Shopper activation overall. For global brands in cooperation with the global brand teams and for local brands with a total end-2-end approach.
- Owner of the portfolio strategy (together with local GM and global brand teams), managing resources to deliver above market growth for local brands and in alignment with global brand GMs for global brands. Encourage/ foster the development of a challenge mindset within the category growth teams to drive innovation and profitable market share growth within the respective country.
- Continuously identify future skill sets and mindsets required to win today and in the future.
- Innovation pipeline planning for local brands, in collaboration with global brand teams and global brand GMs(responsible) for Global Brands
- Member of country CHC Leadership Team representing Marketing in Germany and to help drive company culture, strengthen values, and assist with further alignment with the global Sanofi business model.
- Modelling annual execution, promotion and launch plans
- Challenge the status quo from marketing and innovation perspective
- Strong Collaboration with Sales Force, digital/e-commerce, cross functional teams (medical, regulatory…) and global teams
- Lead, evaluate and ensure implementation country strategic Growth plan in order to ensure a successful end-to-end approach at the POS
- Focus on the achievement of above market growth & sales / profitability objectives.
- Lead digital and media teams to design and execute digital/media plans harmonizing the category inputs
- Ensure best in class collaboration with global GMs for - responsible for Global Brands
People Management Mindset
- Develop and foster a culture of "can do" and challenger mindset with strong ownership and responsibility and focus on sustainability and digital savvyness
- Lead the Marketing teams, coach, challenge, monitor and evaluate the team performance to ensure a highly energized and motivated team.
About you
Education and professional Experience
- Business or scientific background, Bachelor degree, MBA is a plus
- Minimum +12 years’ experience in Marketing (global/local), t/o some years experience in leading teams. Sales experience is a plus.
- Current or previous experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies (ideally b2b) with proven track record in marketing positions
- International experience
