ROLE PURPOSE
The
Brand & Events Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing all
company events to ensure adherence to the HBM Nigeria Brand guidelines in a
successful and cost-effective manner, paying attention to budget and time
constraints.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Branding
Manage new and existing corporate branding platforms and value building engagements through brand management, effective storytelling and social interactions.- Support the
procurement and branding of corporate gift items and other collaterals,
branding same as per HBM Nigeria Plc’s brand guidelines for different
stakeholder groups
- Ensure effective
branding of HBM Nigeria Plc’s events within and outside the organisation
- Stay up-to-date on
industry trends and best practices to continuously improve events and brand
strategy.
- Build relationships
with influencers, journalists and media outlets
- Collaborate with
internal stakeholders to ensure brand guidelines are adhered to for events,
collateral production and publications
- Work closely with the
digital and communications manager in collaboration with the commercial team on
brand messaging, content and design
- Oversee the branding
of digital platforms, brand collateral and designs and ensure brand consistency
across at all touch points of our operations
Event Management
- Plan and coordinate
corporate events and employee engagements in collaboration with the Engagement and Communications Executive,
ensuring alignment with objectives, target audience and business requirements.
- Lead end-to-end
event management, from concept
development and planning through execution, bringing innovative and creative
ideas to enhance the overall event experience.
- Manage event
budgets and commercial processes,
including vendor sourcing, negotiation and adherence to the organisation’s
procure-to-pay requirements.
- Coordinate
agencies, vendors and event operations to ensure seamless execution and high-quality delivery of all corporate
events.
Requirements
Critical Experience
- 5 years’ work experience in event management/coordination in a corporate
setting.
- Experience of stakeholder/vendor management
- Experience of public speaking
- Skilled in project management
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Excellent organizational skills
Critical Knowledge
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
and branding
- A knack for problem-solving
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
