About YouWith a background in marketing and a brain wired for big ideas, you’ve led brands from “just another ad” to “OMG did you see that?!” You speak fluent ATL, BTL, TTL (and probably a bit of LOL), and you believe a great campaign should make your customer feel something, even if it’s just an uncontrollable urge to click “add to cart.” You are equal parts data geek and storyteller, love a good brainstorm (especially with snacks), and bring energy, humour, and a relentless drive to make things better, sharper, and a lot more fun. If you’re someone who lives the brand, knows their ROIs from their KPIs, and can rally a team like it’s the Super Bowl of marketing, you are for us!

What We Do
OneDayOnly is South Africa's original daily deals website. We were founded back in 2010 by Chris Oberhofer and Maurits Vermeulen, two friends who came up with an idea to do something that had not yet been done in the country: build a website where customers could get their hands on incredible brands at unbeatable discounts for a limited time. Since then, we've grown to become a force to be reckoned with in the landscape of e-commerce, set apart from the rest by our fun tone of voice and sense of humour - and, of course, our big deals. We partner with top brands and key suppliers to be able to offer products to over a million potential customers, through various channels including our daily mailer, social media accounts, email campaigns and, most recently, our mobile app - perfect for bagging big deals on the move! Of course, our website and app don't run themselves: we employ over 300 human beings to sell things, buy things, process things, repair things and work on our website and app. Not to mention pack things and deliver things. Why work for us? You'll have the unique opportunity to help a rapidly growing business get to the next level using cutting-edge technology like computers, printers, internet and electricity (even during loadshedding, woah!) But seriously, folks, you'll have the opportunity to mix and mingle with some incredibly talented people, all of whom are dedicated to driving our business forward in ways we might not have ever imagined. Our culture: We're dedicated and hard-working without falling into the trap of becoming too corporate - or boring. That said, we pride ourselves on four key principles here: growth, innovation, value and authenticity - not just amongst the individuals who work here, but as a collective - and for our customers. We foster an energetic and authentic business mentality, ensuring that if we get the basics right and have fun along the way, everything else - including sales and customers - will fall into place.
