Babylonstoren is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bottling & Labelling Assistant to join our production team. The successful candidate will assist with all activities related to bottling and labelling, ensuring that products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bottling or packaging facility would be advantageous.
- Completion of the Senior Cellar Assistant Training Programme (SKOP) will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also completing tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain bottling and labelling equipment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct filling levels, sealing, labelling, and packaging.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of bottling lines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and equipment, in line with health and safety requirements.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of production runs and inventory.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Report equipment faults, irregularities, or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform other related duties as required by the Bottling/Production Manager.
