PURPOSE

The Bottle Room Line Lead in Food Manufacturing is responsible for the setup of the line, line operation and ensuring that production is n within a food manufacturing facility, ensuring that all processes comply with FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC standards. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive knowledge of production processes, schedule adherence deadlines, mechanical aptitude food safety regulations, quality assurance, and production efficiency.

Skills and Competencies

  • Provide strategic direction and lead the bottle room team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC guidelines.
  • Oversee Production, assist in the development and management of production schedules.
  • Manage day-to-day production procedures.
  • Monitor production processes for efficiency and quality.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC regulations and food safety standards.

Additional Requirements

  • Ensure that all bottle room associates comply with all safety policy and procedures
  • Proficient in All MS Office Programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent math skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the bottle room team.
  • Maintain and implement bottle room policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop bottle room associates to enhance skills and performance.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure bottle room production complies with FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC regulations and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of food safety programs within the bottle room production area.

KPI Responsibilities

  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure bottle room production success.
  • Analyze KPI data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to achieve and exceed KPI targets.
  • Report on KPI performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Health and Safety

  • Promote a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies.
  • Ensure all associates are trained and follow safety programs and work with Safety Manager for continuing education and training drills.
  • Address and mitigate any safety risks or incidents
